Warranties

Limited Warranty Coverage

4DELTAS warrants eligible 4DELTAS-branded hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and when operated in accordance with the instructions, specifications, and maintenance guidelines provided with the product.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, the standard warranty period is ONE (1) YEAR from the original date of purchase by the end-user purchaser.

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original owner of the product and is not transferable unless otherwise agreed to in writing by 4DELTAS.

Proof of purchase may be required before warranty service can be provided.

Product-Specific Warranty Periods

Certain products or components may have warranty periods that differ from the standard one-year coverage.

Where applicable, additional coverage may include:

  • One (1) year for eligible machinery, electronic components, computers, printers, and related hardware.

  • One (1) year for eligible 3D-printed components, caps, fittings, fasteners, and similar replacement components.

  • Two (2) years for eligible aluminum structural components.

  • One (1) year for eligible electronics and piston seals.

  • Three (3) months for eligible heating elements or other designated wear-related electrical components.

The warranty period stated on the applicable product page, quotation, invoice, manual, or written sales agreement will take precedence where it differs from this general policy.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of any product.

4DELTAS is not responsible for product failure or damage caused by improper installation, operation, maintenance, storage, or failure to follow applicable instructions.

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

(a) Mineral, calcium, lime, rust, scale, residue, contamination, or other buildup caused by water quality, operating conditions, inadequate cleaning, or improper maintenance.

(b) Consumable or wear components that are expected to deteriorate through normal use, unless the failure is directly attributable to a defect in materials or workmanship.

(c) Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, discoloration, surface wear, cracked trim, or damaged plastic parts that do not affect normal operation.

(d) Damage caused by accessories, replacement parts, materials, consumables, software, power supplies, or other third-party products that do not meet 4DELTAS specifications.

(e) Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, improper transportation, fire, flooding, earthquake, electrical irregularities, or other external causes.

(f) Damage resulting from operation outside the environmental, electrical, mechanical, pressure, temperature, or other specifications published by 4DELTAS.

(g) Damage caused by unauthorized installation, inspection, repair, maintenance, alteration, or service performed by anyone other than 4DELTAS or a service provider expressly authorized by 4DELTAS.

(h) Products that have been modified, altered, disassembled, or adapted in a manner that changes their functionality, safety, performance, or intended use without prior written authorization from 4DELTAS.

(i) Normal wear and tear or deterioration resulting from normal aging and use.

(j) Products with missing, altered, removed, damaged, or illegible serial numbers, identification labels, or other product identification information.

(k) Products for which the claimant cannot provide reasonable proof of purchase or lawful ownership when requested.

(l) Products identified by relevant authorities as lost, stolen, unlawfully obtained, or otherwise subject to an ownership dispute.

Your Responsibilities

Before warranty service is approved, 4DELTAS may require the customer to:

  • Provide the original purchase receipt, invoice, order confirmation, or other acceptable proof of purchase.

  • Provide the product model number, serial number, photographs, videos, or other information reasonably required to evaluate the claim.

  • Answer troubleshooting or diagnostic questions.

  • Follow troubleshooting instructions provided by 4DELTAS.

  • Perform reasonable cleaning, inspection, or maintenance procedures where appropriate.

  • Return the product or affected component for inspection if requested.

  • Follow the applicable warranty claim and return procedures provided by 4DELTAS.

Failure to provide requested information may delay or prevent completion of the warranty review.

Warranty Remedies

If a qualifying defect is confirmed during the applicable warranty period, 4DELTAS, at its discretion, may:

  1. Repair the product using new or previously serviced components that provide substantially equivalent performance and reliability.

  2. Replace the defective product or component with a new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent product or component.

  3. Provide replacement parts that can reasonably be installed by the customer.

  4. Offer another remedy where appropriate and permitted by applicable law.

Replacement products or components may differ cosmetically from the original product while maintaining substantially equivalent functionality.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the original warranty period is not restarted when a repair or replacement is provided.

Warranty Claim Review

Submitting a warranty request does not automatically mean that the product qualifies for warranty service.

Each claim may be evaluated based on the nature of the reported issue, product condition, maintenance history, operating environment, documentation provided, and inspection results.

If the issue is determined to result from misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, normal wear, or another excluded condition, the repair or replacement may not be covered under this limited warranty.

In such circumstances, 4DELTAS may offer paid repair, replacement parts, or other service options when available.

Limitation of Warranty Service

The sole obligation of 4DELTAS under this limited warranty is, at its discretion, to repair or replace products or components that are determined to contain a covered defect.

This warranty does not cover defects, failures, losses, or damage that were not caused by a defect in materials or workmanship attributable to 4DELTAS.

Warranty Support

To request warranty service, please contact 4DELTAS and provide your order information together with a description of the issue.

Additional photographs, videos, serial numbers, troubleshooting information, or return of the affected product may be requested as part of the review process.

4DELTAS reserves the right to update this warranty policy from time to time. The warranty terms applicable to a purchase are generally those in effect on the original purchase date, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
